How it works
Two main uses. (1) Vます-stem + 次第 = 'as soon as ~', for a planned action you will take right after something is done; the following clause expresses your intention/future plan, not a past event. (2) Noun + 次第だ / Noun + 次第で = 'depending on ~', meaning the outcome is determined by that noun. It is a formal expression common in business and announcements.
二つの用法がある。(1)「Vます形＋次第」で「～したらすぐに」。後ろには予定や意志を表す文が来て、過去のことには使えない。(2)「名詞＋次第だ／次第で」で「～によって決まる」。改まった表現で、ビジネスやアナウンスでよく使う。

Notes
- With the 'as soon as' meaning, the clause after 次第 cannot describe a past/completed event — it must be a future plan or intention.「～したらすぐに」の意味では、後ろに過去の出来事は来ない。予定や意志を表す。
- 次第 is formal; in casual speech 〜たらすぐに is more natural.改まった言い方なので、くだけた会話では「～たらすぐに」が自然。
