Kanji Fortress (https://kanjifortress.com) is a Japanese-learning game operated by Social AI Co., Ltd. (“we”), 1-29-3 Higashi, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo 150-0011, Japan. This policy explains what personal information we handle and why, in line with Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI).

1. What we collect

• Account: your email address and sign-in details, and whether your access request is pending, approved or revoked.
• Learning progress: your answers, review schedule, study history, game progress and settings, so they sync across your devices.
• Audio requests: the Japanese text you ask to hear, with a count of requests per account used to limit usage.
• Reading aloud: when you answer by speaking, your browser’s speech recognition turns your voice into text on your device or through your browser’s provider (for example, Google in Chrome). We receive only the text, to score your answer.
• Technical data: our hosting provider records standard request logs (such as IP address and browser type) to run and secure the service.

2. How we use it

To run your account and review access requests, save and sync your progress, schedule reviews, produce audio, show and measure ads, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Advertising and cookies

• We may show occasional ads between game runs through Google AdSense.
• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google My Ad Center, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
• Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown.
• How Google uses information from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

4. Service providers and international transfers

We use these providers to run the service. Some store or process data outside Japan, including in the United States:

• Google (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore and AdSense)
• Vercel (website hosting and our audio request service)
• ElevenLabs (speech synthesis: receives the Japanese text to be spoken, not your account details)

We share personal information with these providers only as needed for the purposes above, and otherwise only where the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account and progress while your account exists. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account and progress data, except where we must keep information by law.

6. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to disclose, correct, stop using or delete your personal information. Email us at the address below from the address on your account.

7. Children

Kanji Fortress is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

漢字城（Kanji Fortress、https://kanjifortress.com）は、Social AI（東京都渋谷区東1-29-3、以下「当社」）が運営する日本語学習ゲームです。当社は個人情報の保護に関する法律（個人情報保護法）に従い、以下のとおり個人情報を取り扱います。

1. 取得する情報

• アカウント情報：メールアドレス、ログイン情報、利用申請の状況（審査中・承認・取消）
• 学習データ：解答、復習スケジュール、学習履歴、ゲームの進み具合、設定
• 音声再生の依頼：読み上げを依頼した日本語の文と、利用制限のための依頼回数
• 音読：声で解答する場合、音声はお使いのブラウザの音声認識（端末上、またはブラウザ提供元経由。例：ChromeではGoogle）で文字に変換されます。当社が受け取るのは変換後の文字のみです。
• 技術情報：ホスティング事業者が記録する通常のアクセスログ（IPアドレス、ブラウザの種類など）

2. 利用目的

アカウントの運用と利用申請の審査、学習データの保存と同期、復習の管理、音声の生成、広告の表示と効果測定、不正利用の防止、サービスの安全確保のため。個人情報を販売することはありません。

3. 広告とCookie

当サイトでは、ゲームの合間にGoogle AdSenseによる広告を表示することがあります。Googleなどの第三者配信事業者は、Cookieを使用して、ユーザーが当サイトや他のサイトに過去にアクセスした際の情報に基づいて広告を配信します。パーソナライズ広告はGoogle マイアドセンターで無効にできます。欧州経済領域（EEA）、英国、スイスの方には、パーソナライズ広告の表示前に同意を求めます。

4. 委託先と外国への移転

サービス運営のため、Google（Firebase、Cloud Firestore、AdSense）、Vercel（ホスティング・音声依頼の処理）、ElevenLabs（音声合成。読み上げる文のみを受け取ります）を利用しています。これらの事業者は、米国など日本国外でデータを保管・処理する場合があります。

5. 保存期間

アカウントが存在する間保存し、削除のご依頼を受けた場合は、法令により保存が必要な場合を除き削除します。

6. 開示・訂正・利用停止・削除

ご本人からのご請求に応じます。アカウントのメールアドレスから下記までご連絡ください。

7. お子様について

本サービスは13歳未満のお子様を対象としていません。
