A tower-defence game that teaches Japanese
Kanji Fortress turns JLPT study into strategy. Before each wave you answer Japanese questions. Every right answer earns a unit: archers for kanji, walls for grammar, traps for listening and heroes for reading aloud. Answer fast for a stronger, reinforced unit. Then place your troops along the road and hold the castle.
Behind the battles is a real study system. Each kanji and grammar point you meet goes into a spaced-repetition schedule, so the game brings it back just before you would forget it, in battle and in daily reviews.
